Mitchell, Maddi and Bobcanob playing their part in the carnival. Well done girls! On Friday, 5/6J participated in the School Cross Country carnival. The students had to compete in harsh conditions, being the hottest day recorded in March in some time. Despite these circumstances, the students ran with enthusiasm and showed great sportsmanship - cheering their classmates on at every turn. An extremely proud teacher celebrated outstanding results of 5/6J students. Some students ran their personal best and others completed the 3km race for the first time ever. Other students assisted kindergarten students by running with them in a second race for the day. Well done 5/6J!

Very proud of the way the IPS students conducted themselves at the Cross Country Zone on Friday. It was a tough run and while the students waited for their age race they conducted themselves with respect. On a side note I'm a proud mum of my boys. It's not about winning but enjoying the journey and experience.

Thank you Mrs Burke for your comment, we always love hearing how wonderful IPS students are, both at school and at community events. You should definitely be proud of your Aussie 5 superstars and I'm glad you enjoyed your day :)

It was fun at the zone and it was a big day. I did well in my race and saw a few familiar faces from 5/6J.
