Oh well... This week's maths focus is chance and data. First 5/6J had to construct a tally chart showing how many of each colour m&m were in their bag. Next, in our technology lesson, they had to construct a column graph on the computer to show their results. Well, the computer really helped us do the hard work this time. We used a program called Microsoft Excel to input our data and then Mrs John showed us how to get the computer to do some of our maths for us and work out totals and percentages of each colour. Some students even took things a step further and created some line graphs, dot graphs and even more. The results were incredible, well done 5/6J for challenging yourselves and producing quality work!
